A/N: So, this is my first post on LJ. I've probably f-ed up many things in this post alone, so any help would be appreciated in how to fix whatever I've done wrong. ^__^;
He had been called many things in his life, but ‘freak’ was by far the most closest to what he would call himself. Was it his fault? No. He had a ‘gift’. (Curse.)
Had he been different, even as a child? Oh, there was no doubt. His own mother and father had neglected him in favour of his other sibling. Naturally, they’d go for the sibling who was more normal.
His mother blamed him for his father’s affair. Of course she would - he was the one who had revealed it. At the age of eleven, being able to see the faint lipstick marks and the crazed eyes of a well-sexed male was more than a little frightening.
Frightening because his mother knew that he was right. Frightening because of the numb, empty nights of pain after a beating from his father. Liar, he still remembered the spittle that flew from the cheater’s mouth. Those angry, raging eyes weren’t accusing him. They were cloaking the fear - the fear that he would be discovered.
And he was.
Divorce was a happy moment for him. But not for his mother. Taking her own life and leaving her children was an easy task and soon he was rid of her - rid of them both. They got by, the two strange children. Names were thrown, discarded, but always left a tiny little chink on his vulnerable heart.
