Hahahaha, I shouldn't be writing such crap when I have a project due in seven hours. WhatthehellamIdoing. And also, ew at the stuff on Fictionpress. D: Why the hell is Hyacinth such a girl in them? He's the prince of a military nation if you follow the Sparta part of the legend. Military nation, emphasis on military.
“Who is that?” Hyacinthus questioned from his seat on a high rock, a short distance away from the pit where his companions were taking turns to duel and train. “I’ve never seen him around before.” His eyes narrowed slightly against the blinding light of the sun as he craned his neck to get a better view of the newcomer over the heads of the other boys.
Zephyrus shrugged. “Who knows?” Lazily, he turned his head to take a look as well, before he froze, eyebrows knitted firmly together.
The tall, brown-haired man there was not an unfamiliar sight to the West Wind. Not unfamiliar at all. But before Zephyrus could point out who he was, the man had raised his straw hat in greeting.
“Spartan prince,” he called, and Hyacinthus raised a brow. “Do I have permission to join you and your friends in sparring today?”
The boy frowned slightly- what was this person’s intent? But as he looked over his group, he felt somewhat comforted by their numbers and gave an easy smile, tilting his head to indicate his permission; he was entirely oblivious to Zephyrus’ taut stance just next to him, being curious about the skill of this stranger.
It wasn’t long before the stranger had beaten even Cynortas, and Cynortas was the best fighter in the group. He turned to Hyacinthus when Cynortas retreated from the ring in defeat, and despite himself, the prince clapped.
“Bravo,” he said, leaping down from the rock to enter the makeshift ring with a small grin. There was little chance of winning, he knew, not after watching how the brown-haired stranger had defeated all the boys in the group so casually, but Hyacinthus wasn’t one to shy away from a match.
Behind him, Zephyrus watched the two with distinct unease.
This totally does not reflect what Apollo-mun thinks. Because I've never spoken to her about this at all. |D;; So. Yeah. Vaguely DDD-verse? Ish? I don't know. |D;;; Also, pardon the language, I'll probably rewrite this when I have the time to; this was written only because I wanted a break from editing pictures and doing crappy silhouettes. =/
