Hmmm.

I have a feeling that Eden's popularity (at least I hear he's the most liked of my dolls) will be going down.

I did some careful thinking yesterday and have just about decided to change his sex to female. The last little bit holding me back is just the fact that he's always been male, and has been male for almost a decade now. . . . it's a big change.

. . . I based this more on how it would effect the plot of their story than any personal preference. It's funny. Changing his sex requires no change to the plot whatsoever, it has that little effect. In fact, there's a bunch of pros for doing it--things that work out smoother, things that make more sense. And absolutely NO cons. NONE.

(I suppose you could argue a con would be that it's now a hetero relationship between him and Satoru--but that's one of the things that's made smoother lol. Besides, I've still got Dami and Toshi, and I've long outgrown the stage for OMG GAY COUPLE for the hell of it.)

. . . wow, Eden, who knew your biological sex was that useless of a thing?

But the popularity bit. I think the whole appeal to Eden is that he's cute and girly, but actually a boy. (Though this is the thing that annoys me personally about him.) So this will really change that aspect of his image.

Of course, he's going to stay a boy in doll form until I can afford to reshell him. Convenient that I was already planning to change him to a School C. (Very similar features, gets away from the Asian shaped eye he's plagued with now--and I know volks resin has more stable yellowing. It's the uneven yellowing from Eden's current resin that bothers me the most, it's the biggest motivation to reshell him. Seriously, he looks like he has a skin disease unclothed. I guess now I'll also have to buy him boobs.)
