(no subject)
Oh, good luck is mine after all it seems X_x I tried starting my computer again once the weather cooled down and our AC came back on and the hard drive seems to have decided to boot up after all. Yay.
. . . this does not mean I trust it completely and I've already backed up the files I want just in case -___-;;;;;;; But this does mean I don't have to take cheap commissions to try to fund a new one~
On another note. I totally forgot how striking Yukio is when I put him in "contacts" (that is eyes other than his natural black). I think going down a size to 14mm helps too . . . but daaaamn, he looks smoking in the 14mm blue acrylics I just put him in. Once I get the chance to repaint him I'll definitely have to see about photos.
. . . changing his eyes was prompted by the fact that a soon-to-be-new-arrival (just has to ship~) will need the 16mm black glass he'd been wearing previously >_> I wasn't sure I was going to like him in colored eyes after having him in black for so long, so I wanted time to get used to it. I should have known . . . Yukio is, after all, the only doll I've ever had that looks good in any pair of eyes I've ever put him in and almost any wig (sadly, he's never figured out how to pull off a bob wig). Ideally he's supposed to have a lot of different eyes and wigs to change between but . . . I've never really had the finances to do it. Or rather, clothing or other dolls ended up taking priority.
I'll end up getting Yukio another pair of eyes some day . . . (probably 14mm though), just not any time really soon . . . .
Edit: Just wiped Yukio [IP Ryushin] and Leslie's [SDF Howl] heads and placed them on my desk for faceupping tomorrow. I'll procrastinate repainting forever with them sitting as whole dolls, but I figure I'll get motivated if they're sitting around as blank heads XD;
