what is the difference of working with wire or... not wire (thread? I guess?) with beaded things? But that sounds cool. Beaded things is always something I have been interested in but haven't the vaguest notion of how it is done!

Literal pottery sounds cool too! Also what kind of succulents do you keep? They are neat plants.

What kinds of things happen in smaller cross-stitch?

All of yours sound good too! I can see that decisions are going to be hard.

- I can make pretty photos, and portraits of people (given time). (It wouldn't be framed because frames are expensive). I can make photo collages, or with words, you know the ones.

- I can knit (for Christmas I'd say a simple beret would be all I'd be willing to commit to.

I can knit. and sometimes sew. I've been meaning to get back into crochet, maybe this would be a good reason to? But I like giving surprises, can I not tell you what I'd make? Maybe could divide it into garment/toy/household item (oh I have been meaning to make crochet potholders for FOREVER).

This sounds like heaps of fun.

Also, for you maybe I could handspin some wool or something for you to knit? Would you like that? I don't know.
