right vs left
i was sitting at my desk yesterday as i was surfing the internet and doing some bittorrent downloads. what i saw amazed me. I had split my desk into my rigth brain and my left brain. to the right of my screen were my toys (my xevoz army, my lego truck, a von dutch motorcycle, halo and halo 2 masterchiefs, some starwars figs. and batman) and to my left were my bills, cds, work junk, dilbert calander and such. i thougt for a second as i looked over the arangement and remebered that the right side of your brain is associated with creativity and imagination and teh left was the critical thinking portion. my desk represents my mind, my right brain wants to be creative this is represnet by teh toys and such that alow me to imagine and play. while the left side of my desk represents my resposiblities and the demands on my brain to think logicaly. I am an engineer i have to think logical, they trained my to think logicaly in school. dont get me wrong i learned a lot at school but the main thing that happened was that i was trained to utilize my mind in a certain way. back to the desk. i thought that it was interesting that i arranged my desk in such a way. it was unintentional, it is an interesting occurance.
