besides being sick and also having to work seven days in a row, i got to work today and my boss tells me that our company was bought out by kmart. no one knows what's going to happen to us part-time workers as of yet, but they've got until december 1st to tell us. so what it comes down to is, in the end, either i will be working for kmart or i'll be out of a job.
that's so fucking terrific. on the plus side, i already had the application for kmart filled out, i had to do it just to get the job i have now. so they should have all that on file. so hopefully, i'll just be transferred right on over.
