The first day of winter starts crisp and chill. The morning is vaguely overcast, but the bright winter sun shines down on the damp city streets . The day's high reaches 56 degrees and no rain falls. In the evening the chill turns to a almost a freeze, dipping into the mid-30's for the nighttime low.
