FIFTEENTH DAY: july 12th, 2011
For the first time this week, the intercom crackles to life at seven o'clock sharp, accompanied by a delayed beep. The Warden takes no time to address his sudden ability to keep time and cuts directly to the morning's announcements.
"Top of the mornin' to ya, my little chickadees! We're clockin' in today at 7:00 AM on a partly cloudy Monday mornin', and the date is July 12th. You know what I'm getting at, people -- it's event day! Can't speak for anyone else, but I'm pretty excited. Participation may or may not be mandatory -- better show up just in case, ahaha!"
"Thanks a bundle, and have a great day at Deadman Wonderland!"
The cell doors unlock, and slide back.
