NINTH DAY: July 5, 2011
At seven o'clock sharp, the intercom snaps on with the usual loud beep. And also as usual, the warden's voice kicks in. Too loud and too cheerful, especially considering the event held the day prior.
"Good morning, little criminals! Today is July 5th, a Tuesday. The current time is 7 AM. Today, the weather will be warm and sunny."
"Did you all enjoy yesterday's performance? We had such a great turnout, we just might have to try it again sometime! But not anytime soon; that would be boring. Don't worry, this Friday's event will be something new and exciting!"
"Thank you, and have a wonderful day at Deadman Wonderland!"
The cell doors unlock, and slide back.
