History: Alucard at HellsingWiki
Alucard was born in Wallachia, Romania as Vlad III Dracul, who later became known in history as Vlad Ţepeș (Vlad the Imapler). Centuries after his death, he became known as Count Dracula and was was defeated by Abraham Van Helsing. As a result, he was forced to become a servant of the Hellsing family. Integra's father, Arthur Hellsing, was the one who gave him the name "Alucard" (the reversal of the word Dracula) during the Second World War in 1944. Alucard and Walter C. Dornez were sent to Warsaw, Poland to deal with the Nazi-German Millennium Organization's vampire production program. In 1969, Alucard was bound up and imprisoned in a dungeon in the Hellsing Manor. He was freed 20 years later when a 12 year old Integra was hit in the shoulder by a bullet from her uncle's gun and some of her blood splattered onto Alucard's dried up body. He was awoken from his slumber, saved Integra from her uncle, and became a servant for the Hellsing family once more.
