I had a doctor appointment the other day, not that big of a deal just discussing the results of my MRI which I don't think I ever told all y'all about. The MRI thing (in Sacred Heart Hospital,
Geekgirlofdoom, no joke) wasn't too bad, though I had to go three times; the first time the doc just gave me Diazepam for my Claustrophobia as it's so bad that even the fact that I was only going to be half in the tube didn't really help (I get slightly panicky going down enclosed slides), of course the meds made me so jittery I felt like crawling out of my skin, not very helpful. I freaked. They got me out right away and sent me to change which I did calmly, but then I just collapsed in the bathroom, I think it was a panic attack, I don't know, but it had the symptoms of one and was really the most terrifying thing I've ever experienced: the whole world just shrunk, I couldn't breathe, I couldn't move, couldn't think, the only sound was the beat of my heart which was so fast it actually hurt, it felt like I was dying. I don't think it went on that long, but it seemed like forever and I know that if Hell exists it will be just like those horrible moments.
The second time they gave me a IV sedative and that went well, I felt rather out of it though, like I wasn't really there so much as watching it on the Telly or something, it was exhausting, I actually went to bed when I got home and ended up sleeping for about 7 hours. *laughs* 'Course had to go back the next day because I had sneezed during the "meat of the scan" and blurred the pictures. XD Gave me less sedative that time though meaning I recovered in just a few hours plus the pictures ended up coming out well so twas all good.
Anyway, my doctor (who has glasses just like The Doctor's, not important, but I kept getting distracted by them) said the scans showed a little (possible) cyst on my pituitary, but that he didn't think it was anything to be worried about. Which, you know, is nice, but it kind of puts us back at Square One of WTH-is-going-on plus it doesn't really make any sense as I have all the symptoms of what they were looking for, the MRI doctor even said I was basically a classic case of it. *sighs* Whatever, They're going to keep an eye on the "cyst" just in case and I have another MRI scheduled for February 5th and I actually found myself hoping it gets slightly bigger by then, I'm just so sick of doctors, of visiting hospitals and getting tests, at least if it's bigger then they can diagnose me and have it be over.
I keep meaning to do a picture!spam (12 pics, I think) of my birthday as I got a (Digital) camera for it, so might as well do it now!
The Birthday Sign we always hang up; covered in the ribbons from my presents:
The Freshly-Picked Flowers for me on the table:
Me with my ever-present headphones (total myspace pic):
Yes, that is my natural colouring.
Breakfast (Homemade donuts A.K.A Fatboys):
My cake:
I had a close up of the writing, but it seems to have vanished. Particular.
Ma breaking eggs for dinner:
She was making Spinach and Cheese Quiche, except she forgot the spinach. *laughs* It was still good, we just put it on top. :9
Dinner Table:
That's Kiera in the background there.
She just looks naked: she'd been in the sprinkler:
Love that picture; Use the Force! *laughs*
We really didn't just eat all day, I swear. I also take two pictures of our Apple Tree:
That doesn't really help with the food thing though, does it? *laughs*
I think I'm going to send that second picture in somewhere, it's just too gorgeous not to.
I'm going to Grandma's this weekend. We're going to The Fireside with some of my aunts, I think, to see a play. I'm going to get there by bus. By myself! Rather excited about that part. *laughs* It should be really fun, I'll get there Friday afternoon, go to the play Sunday and leave around noon on Monday. I'm going to try to stock up on batteries, so I can take lots of pictures.
Speaking of: PICTURE MEME TIME. Give me a scavenger-hunt-type-list of things I should take pictures of this weekend. Not just in-the-house stuff, either. Send me out into the world (after all I will be traveling). No limit to requests (unless you go insane with it).
