Happy Mother's Day!
Hi-ya!
Been pretty busy today. Woke up at 15 to 7. Made Mum french toast with vanilla sauce (which is really good, I have included the recipe at the bottom of this post.), coffee with cinnamon and a wild tree flowers bouquet.
At 8 Mum got up, and sat down to breakfast, which she loved (though I think I could of made her toast and cold coffee and she would of loved it because I made it for her).
After a while I packed a few pieces of french toast and called Gary and together we took Gram's picnic table that we all had made for her down to her house. That was really hard. We couldn't get the tractor to start so we had to carry it down there and that thing was heavy! It took us more then an hour to get it into her yard (finally).
We just got back for seeing a movie. We saw "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy", it...was...awesome!
Oop, got to go, our (t.v.) movie's starting.
Vanilla Sauce
1/2 Cap of suger
1 Tablespoon of corn starch
1 Cup of boiling water (hot will do)
2 Tablespoons full of butter
1 Teaspoon of Vanilla
Mix suger and corn starch together,
slowly add water.
Bring to a boil over medium heat & cook 5 minutes.
Take off of heat and mix in the vanilla and butter.
