LIGHTS OUT!
What a couple of troopers we are!
Yesterday around 4:30 pm, Ryan and I were just chilling in his room and all of a sudden the power went out! I figured it would come right back on, but nope. So I went and laid on the bed with him and was reading my book (I'm in the middle of "Salem's Lot" right now) in the humid yuckiness of Hamilton. Both of us eventually passed out because it was soooooo goddamn hot without the two fans running. He woke me up probably an our later to take me down into the basement where it was cooler, but still sticky. So eventually we decided to eat some cereal and stuff while the milk was still good, and then we played RISK on the living room table. He was cleary kicking my ass, even though I ruled almost all of Africa, he still had way more armies than me.
Eventually, after talking about sex enough, we both got too horny to keep playing the game, so we went upstairs, had quick sex and then showered together. :) In the dark, with only two candles lighting up the bathroom! It was sexy. We never showered together before because I've always been apprehensive about it for some strange reason... it's like the one not-so-uncommon sexual thing I hadn't done. But now I'm still the ruling queen. ;)
Anyways, the power was apparently off in most of Southern Ontario and NY or something. I still have no clue as to what caused it, but I guess people were talking about it being a terrorist thing, which made me say: SHUT UP. *shoots everyone* I'M potentially more dangerous than any Arabs. >:(
Power came back on this morning at 5:30 am, which was beeeeaaautiful, because it was like this nice wall of cold air that woke both of us up, since the fans were still turned on and they came on automatically. So we basically didn't go back to sleep, and we ran out and got McDonald's breakfast for the whole family because we figured the food in the fridge would be bad after being un-cold for like 13 hours.
So that's what happened to ME last night in the power outage. Hurrah!
Today, we dance!
No, but we are going to Toronto to do some getting-away and shopping.
