Loving Spirits
There is something interesting that I came upon, that Frigga's name means Beloved, though Vanir is related to Venus, both of which traces back to an older Indi-European root for "Desire" or "Love". Though Frigga is not named a Vanir, She is an Aesir, likewise Freyja is sometimes called an Asynjar, indeed all of the Vanir became Aesir (Aetheric Spirits) after a Divine War, both of which are known collectively as Gods and Goddesses, or Good-Beings. Likewise Odin drinks from the Waters of Heart-Wisdom, or Loving-Memory, also known as Mimirsbrunnar, his own name means 'The Master of Poetic Inspiration', indeed the Eddas came into being when Wisdom and Love became One. - Michael Rayborn
