A room of one's own

"A woman must have money and a room of her own if she is to write fiction."

So today was pretty NON-productive overall. I had meant to start taking my books downstairs back to the den since the floor was finished 2 weeks ago but alas, they are still in the bedroom. Speaking of which, I am in a quandary. Nothing serious but I cant decide if I want to move my computer desk down into the den now that it's remodeled or keep it in the bedroom. If I put it in the den, it will be like my own little office sans the temptation of a bed. It will also free up some space in the bedroom. The down side is of course, even with an area rug, ceramic tile is COLD in NJ winters. So how bad do I want a room of my own for writing? Asshveta_thakrar can attest to, it's pretty hard to write when all you hear is spongebob's annoying laugh or the theme from Mario Bros. playing over and over.

I did manage about 500 new words on the draft while Professor X was napping. I'm still trying to bridge the gap between the new material and the already-written ending. It's hard to sew the two together to make them seamless. I know I've set some goals for finishing this draft before but the absolute deadline is the end of October. Keep me honest people.
