Homeward bound... or not
Simmons makes his way around the edge of the canyon warily. This is the first time he's ventured anywhere near Red Base since being returned to the present.
He emerges from the cave on the boundary between the two halves of the canyon and looks around.
"All clear so far," he mutters, and heads onwards. He doesn't think that he's going to be able to get all the way there without being spotted, much less get into the base itself - but he's going to give it a good try.
