Cement Ramp or Wavy, Plasmic thingie? [OPEN]

After Freelancer North Dakota finished entering what would prove to be a brief and slightly embarrassing log in his database, he began to survey the terrain of Blood Gulch. Like the bear in it’s forest, he would soon stalk the temperate, multi-latitude grasslands that stretched before him... Much like a lion, except a seriously bad-ass lion wearing full body armor and packing a battle rifle.

Of course, with so much space to completely dominate with his arguably superior tracking skills, it would be a tough decision to designate a starting point. Before reaching surface matter, N. Dakota had gotten a nice aerial view of the valley, which had tipped him off in the direction of several sites of possible interest. In one direction, there appeared to be a base of operations with an impressive looking cement ramp, while in the opposite direction there appeared to be another official looking military structure, with an equally impressive wavy, plasmic green thing. When he tried to think about which structure his former partner, South Dakota, would have chosen, he drew a blank since both areas appeared to have the same explosion capacity. Checking out either base would require a mission of stealth, which wasn’t exactly a strong point of N. Dakota’s, but he felt that his bluffing skills and self-monikered ‘machine-gun punch’ would be enough to take out any used tampon excuse for a guard they had on this dingy little planet.

After assessing his options, the Freelancer came to the only logical conclusion. He would search the area between the bases for a trail leading in one of those specific directions (and try not to get blown up in the process). It was a strenuous job, but someone had to do it. For the good of the 49ers morale.

((Shorter than I would have liked, but at least it's up.))
