IchiHitsu Christmas Plotbunny
Oi, I know, it ain't even Halloween yet and my mind's already on Christmas. I got this idea when after work today I was supposedly doing homework/ studying. well, when I study, my mind wanders and I think of everything other than my work. *sweatdrop* So, I was thinking about my candy molds for Halloween- I only have pumpkin sucker molds- then I though, gee, I have a lot of Christmas ones, then this bunny popped into my head, and it has nothing to do with chocolate candy molds.
It's an AU; set in our world. there's a big business called Seiretei, and Ichigo is the CEO (chief executive officer/ captain-commander) of the entire firm. He has 12 presidents (captains) and they each have vice-presidents (vice-captains). it's the day before Christmas, last day for them to work. Most of the employees are trying to get out as early as possible. Hitsu, however, plans on staying late, and working on Christmas, too. He's staying, though, because he has no family to be with- his beloved grandmother died in the spring from cancer due to smoking all her life, and his big sister, Momo, has a severe mental illness and is locked away in a high-security mental hospital.
Momo had been fine- she even went to college with Hitsu, who was so smart/ a prodigy he skipped several grades, graduated early, etc which is why he's the youngest president in history of business world. Momo was the VP for Aizen, a former president under Yamamoto (he's the retired CEO- Ichigo recently took his place). Aizen split from the company to start his own rival company and took with him 2 other presidents. Around this time, Momo started loosing it, doing odd things, having hallucinations, etc, until she finally snapped and attacked Hitsu, nearly killing him. She was diagnosed with a degenerative mental retardation- she's on a lot of psychiotic drugs but even then she has to be locked up 24/7 and is mostly unaware of reality. she's gotten so bad that she can't even have visitors= thus, on Christmas, Hitsu doesn't get to see his big sister.
the other employees call Hitsu a scrooge b/c of his 'sunny' personaltiy (c'mon, we all know what he's like) and the fact that he's working over the holiday season. Matsu, of course, does no work and Hitsu yells at her, saying she's distracting him w/ her glittery red nail polish, and sends her home early. He really does this, though, b/c he knows if he doesn't, she'll come back later for him. She just smiles and makes him promise not to work all night.
Hitsu finishes his work, and goes to Ichigo, who is stuck there doing work cuz he's the CEO. Hitsu offers to do Ichi's work so he can leave early and be w/ his family. Ichi and Hitsu are in a relationship, sort of. Well, the beginnings of one. They date, schedules permitting, and like each other, and have been together nearly a year, but have never spent the holidays together. Hitsu insists rather forcefully and kicks Ichi otu.
Later that evening, Ichi comes back from visiting hsi mom's grave- she's in same cemetary as Hitsu's grandmother- and sees Hitsu placing a wreath on her grave, talking to her and crying. Ichi finds out Hitsu's been having nightmares and is on sleeping pills to help him cope and hwo sometiems he could just end it all. Ichi then reveals himself and insists Hitsu come spend Christmas with him and his family.
Hitsu's pet is a little ice-breathiing dragon Hyourinmaru. There's comments on how thousands/millions of years ago, dragons were huge, scary, etc but now thanks to evolution they're small, winged lizards- think about the size of a large iguana. Hyourinmaru loves to perch on Hitsu's shoulders, or b/c Ichi is so much taller than him, Ichi's head= good view. Zangetsu is Ichi's dog, and he has a psychotic white stallion named King.
