OH. MY. GOD.
. . .and I nearly fucking had a heart attack because they're was a colorspread that I thought WAS LEGIT and it had Grimmjow in it. I SERIOUSLY SCREAMED, and then I messed up my password trying to get into lj because my hands were trembling.
But then I realized that it was just fanart and I died a little inside.

So anyway, a few things I noticed:
-- Matsumoto looks totally adorable with her new haircut.
-- Shunsui has another opponent who uses guns and it kind of makes me groan for Starrk. T_T
-- Unohana says that the message came from the 10th, but the 2nd, 6th, and 7th were the only ones who actually lost reiatsu? I have no idea what she's even talking about, but it sounds weird and ominous regardless. But for once she doesn't look just impassive, she actually looks worried and that makes me worried too. I was hoping that this arc we'd finally get to see her fight, but until they figure out how to use their bankais, she probably won't play for awhile.
-- Mayuri's zanpakutou sheath seriously looks like an engorged and mangled penis of some sort and I'm scared to look at him. o_o (it also looks like there's a freaking beehive on his zanapakutou.)
-- RENJI WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU TRYING TO BANKAI WHEN BYAKUYA'S JUST GOT STOLEN? IDEK. He must be panicking or something, which is a little jarring because it either feels OOC after his previous calm, or Kubo's using it to show just how out of sorts the shinigami are becoming (which is a more likely explanation, imo).
-- AKON THE LOVE OF MY LIFE. He looks hot as hell when he's stressed and saying fuck. But really, if I was a shinigami I'd start to think that it's totally fucked up that I've been around for CENTURIES but I need a teenage human to bail me out of trouble every single time. I'd just put in my resignation at that point because apparently I'm useless and Kurosaki Ichigo needs to be soutaichou and taichou and fukutaichou of all 13 divisions.
