Well school as started. I get to school at 10:00 in the morning and don't leave till 10:40 pm. I never sleep. I go home and my mind is rushing a million miles an hour cause I have to do the homework that is assigned for that day. So I do my readings, rehearsal, and stage management crap at night. Then wake up the next morning and do it all over again! BUT I love school so no complaints really. Just tired. Really tired. My physical technique class kicks my ass. Imagine waking up and running for about an hour and a half including squats and leg work.....that is basically my class.
On tues and Thurs my body gets beaten up and on Mon and Wed my mind gets ripped apart. BUT I can feel myself growing.
We have this class where every week you get a "problem" and you have one week to solve that problem with the group. For example this week the "problem" was "Theatrically in Space." We broke up into groups of 5 and we have to come up with a piece of theatre that address that problem without using words. The catch is that there is no teacher guidance. The entire sophomore class has to decide how we break into groups, schedule rehearsal (which is nearly impossible with everyone's busy schedules), and then perform Firday morning. Normally, I would be stressed because I want to do good, but that is not what it is about. It is all about process. DO NOT worry about the result and focus on the moment that is the here and now. So I'm just chill......
Other than that busy busy busy.
Love you all.
