Time in Konoha

I have decided to stay in Konoha for a few days. People here are... interesting in their own right.

For now, I've made a temporary residence in the forest. The ground is soft enough to turn into sand. The exterior is primitive- just a sand dune with a hole. But I've made some adjustments inside.

These past few days, I've been watching some of the shinobi here. I've noticed that they are quite relaxed compared to Suna's nin. Most of those who have commented on my journal have some unique qualities that draw me to them.

I've used my sand jutsu to watch how the civilians in the village go about their daily life. At one point, I saw a blond boy being chased by a girl with pink hair. They were so noisy, but I could sense that they were shinobi. There's something about the blond boy that feels...familiar.

There was also a time when an older boy- I think he was lotusintraining -came to the edge of the forest to train. There was a point where he loosened the top of his suit. His scars were very interesting. I've watched him a few more times since then.

The Hyuuga compound was vast, but I wasn't able to explore every part of it. With their clan's bloodline, I would have been easily discovered. I did get a glimpse of someone training in the courtyard. Perhaps it was lostprayers.

I heard there was a gathering at one of the tea houses. What surprised me the most was that I found a scroll inviting me to join it.

The Kazekage hasn't sent anyone to check up on me yet. Perhaps I should see what this gathering is about.
