The house is full right now.
It's been far too long since I've updated, so there's quite a lot to say.
I have my very own cat now. Shannon and I met Samson in September or October last, when he was only a few weeks old. He was a scared, skittish, sleepy little thing when Stephanie and Cristina were fostering him along with a few of his siblings to ensure that they were properly socialized and would grow up to be loving, constructive members of society. Over the course of a few moths, Sam grew into just that Unfortunately, when the girls went on their recent European escapade, all of their animals had to be sent to stay somewhere else while they were gone. Samson and a few others went back to the pet rescue where Stephanie is currently employed. During his stay there, he became ostensibly more feral than he had been at the girls' house, and stephanie began to fear that he would never find a home.
So we gave him one, and I couldn't be happier.
Samson is so fucking cuddly you could just die, and despite some initial snags, he's getting along reasonably well with the other animals. One rather irritating thing he's been doing lately is climbing, by some miracle of physics, onto the tops of the kitchen cupboards and taking extended naps. I suppose it must be warmer up there.
In other news, our recent repeated attemtps at renewing the One and a Half in the Morning Show for a second season have become increasingly infuriating. We have filmed no less than five complete episodes, only to have them mysteriously deleted, swallowed by some digital Charybdis in the virtual ether, or only partially uploaded. I expect we'll be trying again tonight.
Along those same retrograde lines, I have still not received my paycheck from last Friday. As I have direct deposit, the money should be automatically shoveled into my checking account- but it was not, has not been yet. I blame Mercury's retrograde, which thankfully ends tomorrow.
Incidentally, as a countermeasure against the aforementioned money issues, I cast a prosperity candle spell yesterday at around two in the afternoon. By four, I had picked up around ten extra hours at work. It's good to be good.
Along the same magickal vein, Stephanie and I are planning a dark moon ritual for tonight after our daytime responsibilities are completed. I think a Dark Moon in Capricorn with a sextile to Uranus should be just lovely for some gentle banishing.
That means I need to clean the house. Again.
BTW, Amy~~~
