(no subject)
hmmm... another thrilling day in the life of laura.
today i got my ass out of bed around 1 in the afternoon..
i dressed... in yesterdays clothes, naturally. and legged it (casually strolled) to the nearest shop where i purchased a news of the world (i need tabloid tat ok ?), an observer (dutiful media student) some over priced loo roll (its me keeping that bleeding andrex puppy in the luxury its become accustomed to) and some bread... that i could have baked cheaper at home. i also got my much loved sprite after spending almost 2 weeks without it. i love it. i need it.
i then scuttled back to my 6th floor haven and proceeded to spend no less than 3 hours reading the beautfil news of the day. i need to point out that of those three hours i spent abut 30 minutes reading the sun, 30 minutes reading the observer and 2 hours wrestling with the observer... its bigger than me for the love of god. who decided that newspapers should be printed on bedsheets, and why ???
i am currently keeping you informed of my daily joy instead of doing my "essential reading" for tomorrows lectures... oh dear !
last night at work.. was... odd. they played shit music, but it wasnt unbearable... students are generally good people, despite what you think. with the exception of one total tosser who refused to pay for his drinks, so i took them off him... then when asked again he said it was my fault and that i wouldnt take his payment. he was laughed at. ha ! also, it was the night that fran cosgrove visited. he's taller than i thought and more built and manly. also, nathan my boss informs me that he's a very nice man. that is the most nathan has ever spoken to me.
right... hannah is making tea and i have reading to do so i should go. also. we are waiting for food to be delivered. this is common as it is sunday and there is nothing in the flat except pasta and potatoes.
anyone for 80's night tomorrow ?
oh and before i forget. i got both series of the young ones on dvd for £20 yesterday. score !
and if anyone else tells me that they dont know who rik mayall is i will scream.
