I don't remember any mice there... I haven't even met Ness and Paula yet. In my time, anyway. I've met Ness here already. It sure sounds like I've done a lot of great things. I wish I could remember them.

I don't know. He mentioned it before I left his lab. I don't know if that's what caused it, but maybe it can fix things.

Ness and Paula and Poo and you put your minds into robots because people cannot travel through time, as time travel has bad effects on carbon-based lifeforms. You all took it into the past and you left it there.

Your robot bodies never came back. Only your minds and souls did. I really never figured out how you managed to do that...

However you traveled through time, it certainly wasn't in the Phase Distorter, Jeff.

And while I could build you a phase distorter to send you back in time, your body would be altered in uncertain ways. It wouldn't be safe to send you back that way, no. You'd have to take a robot body, and then, well... that would change the time stream that you're from. Because I know for a fact you weren't a robot when you rescued me from the aliens. Who knows what that would do. You might fracture time itself, or you might just splinter off into another timeline all together.

I'm from that time. I know that you saved the world five years ago.

You're just here for now.

There are many students and teachers here with what I can only call magical powers. Perhaps one of them knows another way to travel through time.
