my art grade.....
here's the email i sent to derrick and cc'ed to herb goodman
Mr. Meads,
I don't think I deserve a C in Art 100. I had an A at midterm. I have never missed a class, all my assignments were in my portfolio, and I did all the work, plus some. I may not have been the best artist in the class, but I made a much better attempt to be a responsible part of the class than others who made a better grade than I. I think you graded unfairly and with little or no scale of basis and comparison. I also think absenses went unnoticed, as well as attendance. Of the 24 assignments in my portfolio, only nine have grades on them. I have accumulated 4 A's, 4 B's, and 1 C. How does all this deserve a C?
