i think i'm going into heat...
I am absolutely restless!!! I was online the other day researching how cats behave when they go into heat so i cna keep an eye on Lucy and one of the things is restlessness and the need to be touched. I am normally not a cuddler but i would give my left eye to snuggle up to someone right now. I can barely sit still and i have the distinct feeling of needing to draw, or write, or type. So here i am. and in all this restlessness, i had decided to go to EKU onlne and poke around in teh OWLS page. Well, after 23,562 trips thru the same three damn pages that have nothing to fuckin do with OWLS or any links to get there, i wrote this message to the 'public relations and marketing' link at th bottom of the page on EKU Online. Me, restlessness, and the need to type are not a pretty combination...now the PR dept knows this.
"I didn't think EKU online could get more confusing and unorganized, but you have proved me wrong! Way to go! you should be proud of yourselves. It takes a lot to get me fed up with websites but you have managed to do it. I would love to have a search engine that finds what you actually need and not the minute mention of what I queried in some article somewhere. Who knew actually finding what you need would take more than seven steps? I'm with you--organiztion and ease-of-use is highly overrated! Who would actually want to be signed in to EKU Direct and be able to go thru more than their schedule/tuition/car registraion? Who needs to look up silly old student organizations without stopping to ask for directions? Why would anyone want to sign into this site, be taken to a homepage with news relevant to all students (i.e. registraion schedule, club news, specific dates to drop classes), and be able to click around effortlessly to what they need?
