(no subject)
Allrighty well i made it to Friday! lol Anatomy practical was "eh" a lot harder than i expected it to be. Some were really easy or it was something i knew and i was like ohh well thats this! (yes im so smart) and then other, like muscles of the leg, the way they had the leg sitting i couldnt figure out like where the muslce pinned was in relation to other muscles, like the direction of the leg confused me, so then i would try and touch the model to figure out where i was in the body and the guy would be like "DONT TOUCH THE PARTS" grrr. but theres a curve on that too so im sure i made out w/ a low B atleast. not too bad.
practice yesterday was dissapointing. we've been on this 5 week cycle and i didnt PR on snatch. =( you would think w/ 5 weeks of training i would have gotten stronger. i guess in some sense i have because i did 60 ( an old like 95%) like it could be an opener. and i did my 100% (old max) fairly easily. like it was tough, but it was a good, solid lift. but 65 i just couldn't pull. i think it was a mental thing. hopefully on meet day more adrenaline will kick in and i'll be able to get it done. we max out on clean and jerk today so hopefully that will go better. i havent gone heavy on cleans in a while, so we'll see what happens. i really dont even know waht to expect. my squats have gone up so hopefully that means something good will happen....
OH, so theres these protein bars at the UCF bookstore that are SO yummy and good. and have good nutritional info. They have no sugar, and 30 g of protein! thats a lot for a protein bar, most bars that have that much protein have like 330-380 calories, but this one only has 250 calories. which is fairly low for a meal bar in general. just trust me on this one, i know the caloric values of most energy bars. k so anyways, the brand is Everlast, like the boxing company, and i cant find them anywhere else but at the bookstore. =( so i went to their website bc i was gonna order some. but at the bookstore i can get 1 for $2.64. On the website you get a box of 12 for $35.88 plus shipping im assuming. so 35.88/12 is $2.99. WAY MORE then just buying 1 individually. so thats not really worth it. but their website said that publix is gonna start carrying them soon.
Speaking of the devil ( eh..Publix i mean) work last night went pretty good, and pretty fast. i had carts from 630-7. and then i bagged till 9. and my closing job was entrances, which involves having carts from 9-10( final carts of the night). bc its my job to make sure all the carts are off the lot and i also have to bring all the carts that are inside the lobby and put them outside the store. luckily there was this stocker guy that helped me take the carts out in bigger quantities than i would have been able to do myself. lol. and then i had to sweep the entrance and vacuum the carpets there, and take all the trashes out and put new bags in. but needless to say time flew w/ all that to do. ( i made a rhyme!) hehe. and my sched for next week is: Sat 1130-730, Sun 1030-630, no work monday, Tuesday 1030-2, wednesday no work!, thursday no work!, friday 12-3. not too too bad. 1 thing i like about the publix schedules are that you have a diff sched each week so its not so completely monotanous (spelling?) yea so anyways. and i got paid yesterrday! $131.26. holla. oh so anyone not doing anything sat night let me know!! it'd be fun to go do something i havent gone out in a while.
