Well, they "went with another student." But, hey, if it's any consolation, it was really close. Yea...no real consplation at all. I mean, more than anything else, it just reminds me that I can never be number one. Maybe that doesn't bother some people, but I just want to be first once...
But, I can't dwell over it. I had a cry, I thought it was BS (as I typically do when I'm not chosen for something I want) and then I just realized there's nothing I can really do about it. I mean, there's so many other things to be happy about, there's no point worrying about this one.
Still, it is a bummer. I really felt like I deserved it.
