Bittersweet
So, the semester has come to an end and this time it means big changes. April is graduating and while I am super happy that she made it this far, I am also really sad that this means she is leaving Richmond. These past 2 years living with her here have been incredible. She is like my sister, and it is really weird to try to imagine coming home and not hearing "hellooo!" I don't like the idea of having to talk to her over IM when she is 100 miles away instead of 10 feet or on the phone when it's not for, "hey, i'm stopping at taco bell on the way home"
At the same time, Jess and I found an apartment and it is gorgeous. Newly renovated, the complex is amazing. My commute to work will be cut in half. I am excited for our new place and at the same time I am torn with sadness. It sucks, to put it bluntly.
I guess chapters have to come to a close sooner or later and new ones begun but no matter how many times it happens, it never gets easier.
