Wow, now I really want to write that fruits basket/ouran crossover. It could be fun. But on to real things....

I've liked this couple for a while, but I haven't really known how to tackle them.

New York city was calm, and as quiet as a major metropolitan city should be as the clock struck midnight. The resident hero, restless due to the lack of activity, was night crawling, swinging around the city, and over the buildings themselves. Even on as safe a night as this, he couldn't rest. Besides, he'd catch up on his sleep some other time, most likely in class, but that was neither here, nor there.

He was on his fifth circle of the city when something moving in central park caught his eye, and he swung down closer to investigate.

Ella Lasser, was utterly confused. Absolutely discombobulated. One minute, she was running through the woods, away from a prince who fancied himself in love with her, the next minute, she happened into this strange world, where the buildings glowed, and practically touched the sky. The pathways were paved with one long stone, completely unlike those that covered the roadways at home. But on Ella ran, she didn't know who, or what was behind her and she didn't want to stop and find out.

"Hey, wait. Stop!" A voice called out from behind her. It sounded muffled, as if her pursuer had covered his face with cloth. Ella stopped short in surprise, though she knew she should keep moving, though where she'd go now was unknown.

She heard what sounded like a man jumping off his horse, and as the footsteps grew closer, she could feel her heart beat speed up.

"Is there a problem?" He asked, putting a hand on her shoulder. The warmth of his hand contrasted sharply with the cool air Ella had grown accustomed to, and she began to shiver violently.

"Hey, hey. It's okay. It's just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. Are you lost? The comic-con is that way." He pointed off to the east. Spiderman had been very careful in avoiding that area, the villain cosplayers had this nasty habit of trying to pick a fight with him. Luckily, the princesses were far easier to deal with.

"Please sir, remove your hand." Ella turned to face the stranger, and Spider-Man paused. This cinderella wasn't like the others. Not only was her costume far too detailed to be a costume, but she had this air of genuine confusion, panic and utter fish-out-of-waterness that even the best actress couldn't emulate. Something was off about her. But Spider-Man didn't know what.
