Daily Story
"Show me again!" Eric rolled his eyes. Ella had been asking for his one and only magic trick all day. "I think I've got it this time." She'd been trying to figure it out for the past two hours, and while she mastered his exact movements, she couldn't make the acorn disappear.
"Are you sure you can't just teach me?" She pouted when he shook his head no.
"A magician never reveals his secrets." Eric said, and smiled in amusement at the comically sad face Ella pulled.
"That's a lie. Martin shows everyone how to do tricks." It was true, Eric had received some lessons from the man of mystery himself, but teasing Ella was far too much fun to pass up just yet.
"Here, one more time." He said, and picked up the acorn again.
