Alice rolled her eyes, if she was going to have to endure this at every house, she was turning around and leaving. Her costume itched, and it was terribly cold.
She was too old to trick or treat anyways, and the man that dragged her out here was even older. But no, they had to, it was 'fun'
"Alice, Alice!" Tarrant called, waving from the doorstep, "The people, they give us candy!" He jumped up, with more energy then the kids around him, and raced beck towards Alice. She couldn't believe her boyfriend was a senior in high school.
But as he smiled at her, his transformers costume clanking as he walked, she couldn't help but smile back. He was adorable, and maybe getting to see him act so care free mad trick or treating worth it...

Robert woke up, alone, for the first time in almost a year. It was a little unsettling, knowing that his girlfriend, his super naive girlfriend was up and about. The last time this happened was his birthday, when she tried to bake him a cake...
Robert bolted out of bed, remembering the cupcake disaster. If something like that was brewing, he needed to stop it before it exploded into a mess.
He was pulling on his robe when he heard a rap on the door. It grew more and more insistent as it went on, and Robert finally yanked the door open, only to have the MIA girlfriend fall into his arms.
"Giselle?" He asked, carrying her in, and laying her on the couch before he shut the door.
"Robert, it's snowing!" She said weakly, a huge contrast to the grin she wore.
"Giselle, you're shaking. Did you go outside dressed like this?" Robert asked, spreading a blanket over the both of them, and pulling her close, trying to warm her up. She was only in her night gown, which was warm enough for sleeping, but not nearly warm enough for walking around outside in.
"Did you know snow was cold?" She asked through chattering teeth. Robert laughed, she came from such a different world.
"Of course it is." He said, brushing her damp hair away from her face.
"Not in Andelasia is isn't. Your world is still so strange." She murmured, closing her eyes. It didn't take too long for her to fall asleep. They stayed there for an hour or so, until, a small cry rang out through the apartment.
"Daddy, Giselle! Snow!"
