(no subject)
So last night I went with Kirk and his family to watch Kelly Graduate! Their ceremony was so much different from what I remember Rp's to be. The grad's walked alphabetically, so they were not able to chose who they walked with, no one had flowers =( and only about 12 random people threw their hats. Seriously how lame! I mean the ceremony isn't supposed to be fun, but let's make it a little bit exciting. At our graduation I recall every girl had at least a bouquet or two of flowers if not more, many people decorated their hats, we chose who we walked with and almost everyone threw their hats and had silly string! Ah well, it's over, I guess that's all that matters!
After the ceremony were were taking pictures and what not and Stephy, kirks cousin, (remind you she has downs synd.) she doesn't get a long with grandma Katy so here's a little funny scenario!
Kirk was talking with Grama...
Stephy (to kirk): "don't talk to her, she's mean"
Grama: "stephy, that's not nice"
Stephy: "yeah well he's my cousin"
(at this point Grama begins to argue with her)
Grama: "yeah well he's my grandson"
Stephy: "He's my grandson!"
Probably one of thoes had to be there moments! It was so random! Steph's one crazy cat!
When I got home last night I got a card in the mail so I opened it and it read...
"Dear Emily,
.....We are so thankful that you and kirk are together. You're such a perfect couple. I can tell because he is so happy!
We love you, Sue"
Aww how sweet, I almost cried! It was from Kirk's mom as a thank you for the flowers I gave her on monther's day.
*Just another reason for me to realize how wonderful things truly are!*
