Originally this was tweeted by another LJ user (who I shan't disclose as I'm not sure that she wants that information banded about and it's not my place to do so.) Anyway, this piece of writing struck a real resonating chord with me and I felt it important to share it with the rest of you.

I <3 this article so much, it hurts my face. (Because it makes me smile, that is.) It makes me want to fall in love, or champion a cause, or do anything of value just so I can be loud and obnoxious about how amazing it is!

Agreed. I'm planning on printing it out and putting it up in my classroom this coming September because I think it says a lot of valuable things that teens need and deserve to hear. Heck, that I need to be reminded of too.

It made me take a moment to remember that there are some awesome things out there and yes, we might well stumble and fall but we also get back up again at the end of the day and carry on forwards.
