Cast your mind's back to another world... okay so maybe not another world but a good 18 years ago...
Completely and utterly random I know but did anyone ever watch Peak Practice back in the day?
For those of you who need prompting, it was a British drama series about a GP surgery in Cardale - a small fictional town in the Derbyshire Peak District - and the doctors who worked there. (Think a better version of the current tv show: Doctors) It ran on ITV from May 1993 to January 2002 and was one of their most successful series at the time.
Anyway! Last night I had the most random dream ever, which now I can barely even remember the details of but somehow involved Peak Practice, and because of that it prompted me to rediscovered two of my very first crushes that occured because of that show.
Gary Mavers aka Dr Andrew Attwood (1995-2000)
Jospeh Millson aka Dr Sam Morgan (1999-2001)
I mean at the time I was like 11/12 years old when I watched the show but oh boy did I have a soft spot for these two. I mean other girls were lusting over Back Street Boys or Boyzone but me? Nah. I squee'd over these two and even more so after watching Gary Mavers in the tv movie/drama 'The Unknown Soldier' (1998) which was BRILLIANT! I can only find it on VHS which is a bummer as I really want to re-watch it. [le sigh]
So.... now that I've exposed my self to mockery does anybody else want to volunteer their random childhood crushes?
