A little bit of everything.

Today I got to spend the day with my BFF Amy, who I've known since I was twelve years old and forced to sit alphabetically in maths. We hit it off from day one and have been pretty inseparable ever since, even when life (or Australia) has gotten in the way!

We decided to head over to Canterbury (we both went to uni there) and get some lunch where we discovered the joy of Tacos Locos. They provide you with hats. Yes that is right HATS to wear! So obviously we took lots of pictures of us in the various hats.

So as you can tell we had a pretty dorky time of it, even if the camera on my phone is crap. I loved the sombrero personally and refused to take it off until we were leaving. The food was brilliant too! After Canterbury we headed back home and detoured past the cinema to watch Love and Other Drugs starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway which was brilliant and I shall be buying that on dvd when it comes out! We were debating between that and Morning Glory but nake Jake won out.  Hmmm I wonder why?

Barn then decided he'd com keep me company for a bit and discussed about growing a moustache which reminded me I had some stupid pics of him from a few days ago when we were dorking about. This was Barn's impersonation of Dean doing the Blue Steel face... with a random eyeliner moustache.

He's such a dweeb.

In other news there has been some progress on the job front. I've got an interview next week for a part time tutoring job in the prisons which would be freaking awesome! It's not going to be an easy job but the pay is scarily good and the hours aren't too shabby at all. It could also mean I could ditch generic superstore completely.
If you wonder why I'm so eager to ditch the store I'll explain in the best way I can. It's not the people. It's not the job. What makes the difference is that by working only 3 hours at the prison in a week and doing that for a whole month (max of 12 hrs in a month) I would earn the same that I get from the store working 15 hours a week for a whole month (max of 60 hrs a month.)

Yeah. That is just how scarily good the pay is.

And what makes my decision all the more easier is that they cancelled a shift for me this week because they don't have the hours available AND they won't offer me anything more than a zero hour contract because of the recession.

I can't think of anything more to say right now so I shall love y'all and leave y'all till later.
