I achieved my Qualified Teacher Status today - therefore I have finished my studies and am now officially an Newly Qualified Teacher. Still have one year of training to go AND I still need a job but I don't get observed from now until I start a new job. Hallelujah!
Which leads to the job front. I don't have one. First place I interviewed at went for the guy who had a years worth of experience in teaching KS5 which I don't have. Apparently though they were really impressed and they had to use that as the only reason that didn't go for me. Oh well.
Interview two I haven't heard from. Though that was through an agency so who knows when they'll even tell me.
Ah well.
Back to job hunting.
