(no subject)

It's official. I'm becoming domesticated!

I can clean, have learnt three settings on the washing machine, can just about do ironing, bake cupcakes, cakes and cookies, cook pasta, cook omlette and microwave like a pro. Now I have added to the list cross-stitching, sewing (with room to improve) cooking chikcen breast and making stir fry and fajitas!

Quick someone marry me off now!!

Weekend was good. Spent a lazy day with my Boy (yes a change from 'the'... could be an omen... o_o ) and I've started to learn that there is little point in me stressing and worrying about getting hurt because it'll happen evenutally.
I've just got to live for the moment.

Had a couple days at the Uni to learn about teaching my subject, met the PGCE lot who are all so rather lovely!
I never realised now passionate I was about mapping (I used to despise it!) but our lecturer Colin made me
open my eyes and see just how much I had learnt about the topic and how my approach was
just what students needed.... I admit that I dislike maps but then explain where I'd be without one

Namely stuck somewhere up in Lincoln in the middle of a field with my at the time boyfriend and a flat mobile battery.

Making my xmas cards this year, hence the cross-stitching. I've made one so far and now gotten the Boy addicted to them too (mwahahah)

On another note though....I want to move out.
Like now.
As in I can't stand being at home much longer so I think I'm going to start flat hunting in Maidstone.
Screw the long term costs, I'm going insane.
I love my family, seriously don't get me wrong but I'd just like to be in control for once and not feel like I have to worry about
stepping on other peoples toes.

Soooo.... I'm secretly trying to find a place of my own, looking at budgets and stuff.

the boy, family, moving out, life, money
