I worked all week, including Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. At least my Christmas Day was nice when I got to my parents house. There was a magnificent dinner and awesome presents! I got a Coach bag, leather jacket, pictures for the walls, those wine glass "shoes"...actually they are platforms! They are so funny looking! Also received a wok, grill pan, apron (things I asked for) and a yoga mat with some 2 lb weights. Yay :)
Last night I went out to celebrate the week being over and NOT working next week, thanks to taking 24 hours of vacation (3 eight hour days). Somehow I talked my designated driver into club hopping in Stuart. It was so fun! We started out at Wahoo's and it was awesome. It was so dead there though, but the weather was perfect. It's an outdoor place with a DJ and good bartenders! Then we went to Stuart Ale House (I hate that place) and met up with friends. Did I mention that I hate that place??? The bartenders suck, the place sucks, and it's kinda ghetto. Then we went to Club 131 (not really a club...) which was crazy packed. It was sooooo fun! It's a bit more "upscale" and nice in there.
I forgot how much fun a night out in Stuart can be. There is no cover charge, drinks are $6, not too crowded, no lines to get in, free parking, no smoking if you are inside, and nice people.
Now off to Mom's to give her a makeup clinic to show her how to use Bare Minerals and all her new makeup (Christmas gifts). And then...off to Miami tonight!
