Kicked the Bad Mood
Kicked the bad mood later that night. The person who started it, apologized.
Mike surprised me by taking a break from studying and taking me to IHOP. Nothing like getting hot chocolate and hot fudge sundaes at 11:30 on a Sunday night.
We went back to his place and he continued to study, I didn't feel like studying, so I pulled out Cosmo and read until he finished studying sometime after 1. Crawled into bed at 1:15, but neither of us was really tired, so we stayed up talking until 4ish. Yeah, its a good thing neither of us had exams today, lol. But we did have to get up at 7:45 to register for classes. I had to sign up for guard and modern philosophy (yuck!) and he had to sign up for winter drumline. Finished by 8:15 and crawled back into bed. Our original alarm was set for 12:15, but that was way too early, so we ended up getting up near 1:30. Went and had lunch at Popeyes. It was good to see that they were just as slow down here as they are up at home.
Things are going really well with Mike. Our sarcastic attitudes and senses of humor seem to complement each other nicely. Last night we were talking about something and he looked at me and said do you know what my favorite night with you has been? Lol, no, not in that sense... He said it was the night I got back from Fall Break. We went on a walk on the Noland Trail around Lake Maury. His friend called and we went and watched a movie at his friends house. Mike said his favorite moment was when he put his arm around my shoulder and I laid my head against his shoulder. My heart about melted, how incredibly sweet is that? Not that any of it surprises me, it doesn't in the least. He's always sweet, whether its opening the door for me all the time, stocking his fridge with HI-C Fruit Punch because of how much I love it, watching movies like The Notebook and Casablanca with me, or looking into my eyes and saying he loves me. I'm going to miss him over break, but he said he's going to come up from Yorktown to visit me, so I'm looking forward to that!!! We're going to wait until he comes up to exchange gifts because he's been so busy studying for his exams the last week or so. Yay for having a great boyfriend!!
Classes are going well. I have to be up at 9 am to go volunteer for the last time this semester, yay!! Tomorrow is going to consist of volunteering, studying for history with Amy, briefly reviewing Stats since the final is open notes open book open old tests, watch Gilmore girls with Taylor, and have the last spaghettios night of the semester! Only 4 finals this week! Either Thursday night or friday after my public speaking exam, Mike and I are going to go out to eat and spend a little more time together before we have to say goodbye. A little sad that my mom can't come get me and that my grandparents are instead. I mean I love my grandparents, but it's always nice to spend time with my mom. But to make up for it, she's going to take a day off work while I'm home for break to hang out with me, so that should be fun.
Well guys this is probably the last entry I'll write as a college freshman... Haha, yep, after friday, I am technically a sophomore. Wahoo, lol.
