Ok, this could get long. Much has happened in the past few days.

Of course, there's volleyball. I coached the oldest group, the 14s and 15s, with Julie. Seriously, sometimes she drives me CRAZY!! I feel like she thinks she's so above me and it's pretty darn annoying. Sometimes she's great, but others she undermines me and treats me like a child. But I love the girls, we had so much fun today. I got to play Queen of the Court w/ them and made them cookies w/ some help from Madre, considering she practically shoved me out the door this morning before I could put them all in the oven. :)

It's definitely going to be an interesting year for NHS volleyball...for us seniors at least. Coach has made it perfectly clear that we have A LOT of pressure, just like every senior that has come before. And I can already sense some controversy and division among the team because we will def have some juniors starting in place of seniors. I mean, come on, when you have Susan Legatova, you have to play her...and no one can really argue with that...hopefully...whatever. Coach says he doesn't play mind games, but he specifically told my mom that he's going to get in my head this year...ok, bring it, Coach. You gave me enough crap last year, I'm ready for it now...cuz we're seniors!! And it's gonna be an AWESOME year. We have to be state champs...

So moving right along, Wednesday was me and Jon's anniversary! Good times, good times. We went to this wicked cool Japanese restaurant where they cook the food in front of you and throw it in your mouth and stuff, then we FINALLY went to his house and I FINALLY met his dad...we had never really hung out there before. His dad's wicked nice, but I'm afraid his mom doesn't like me...he says she does, but she, like, NEVER looked at me. Anyway, as always, we ended up at my house where I changed into pajama pants because I'm suuuure I'm going to wear a skirt any more than I have to. Dressing up is overrated, but I wanted to wear this one shirt my white skirt really badly once I saw the skirt sitting there, so whatever. Dad and Jon had a nice conversation, I think...I don't really know b/c I was talking to Madre. Jon gave me too much stuff, but it's all good because it was kind of half a birthday present I think...

And Thursday Alex, Sunish and I went to the PARK!! At first it was just going to be me and Alex, but then Sunish decided he didn't hate me so he came too. Oh, that reminds me, Vicky had a party for the returning seniors (volleyball) and didn't invite me...wicked cool. But anyway, after my summer league vball game, I went to Alex's house and Sunish and I argued over who would drive to the PARK. We ended up walking :) Unfortunately, there were kids on the playground, so we went to Sky Market b/c I had never been there, then we went back to the park and had mad good times acting 8 years old again. I'm glad there are people in the world besides me who find the joy in swings/slides/random other park stuff. Then we walked back to Alex's house and drove to Sunish's so he could have a burrito. It was a good thing Alex drove w/ me, not Sunish, b/c otherwise I would've gotten lost/killed myself. Eventually I drove Alex home and we realized that there's a playground right next to his apartment complex that was a heck of a lot closer than Roby Park. I decided we should do a survey of all the parks in the city and pick the best one. mwahahaha

And finally, tonight Liz, Jan, Trace, and I went to the mall where we saw Kris, Sean, Liz's stalker, and Mike Swisher & Co. Oh yes, and some other kid who will remain nameless b/c I want to beat the crap out of him :) Actually, there were lots of NHS people there...I guess no one could find anything EXCITING to do :) After the mall, we went to Mickey D's...btw, Tracy was wicked paranoid about her skirt b/c of its shortness. Some guy whistled at her, actually. I found it humorous.

Tomorrow I can sleep in!!!!! Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!!!!!!!

Love y'all!! Christie
