::when he says he "needs to figure out what he wants," don't assume that you will be what he wants when things are figured

::don't change for someone. (everyone says "i'd never change for a guy" but you will. and then it'll end and you'll wish you hadnt been so stupid.)
::if he wants it, he can come get it
::when things are going awful, someone else is having life a lot worse. count your blessings.
::when someone says "crying isn't going to solve anything," they're lying.
::look for something deeper in a person when no one else will
::you won't get along with everyone
::nothing remedies a girl like chocolate and shopping. seriously.

::the guidance counselor isn't "available whenever you have a problem."
::too much independence isn't good for you
