What happens at camp...Stay's at camp!!
I've been home for a week now so I figured I would tell you how much fun I had there. Sorry but I didnt have time before!
So friday after work I came home and started helping my paretns packing for our trip to Canada with the whole family. Left here around 5 or so and go our camp site in Canada around 8 I wanna say. Everyone was there already so we unloaded and shit and ate dinner. Kinda relaxed for the most part, got some beer and played cards. Saturday my cousins made a movie of our family for my grandparents so we watched that and started a eurcher tournment. Me & my Aunt Kim were partners but we lost in the second round to my brother and my uncle. O well. Went to bedc early b/c Sunday my aunt was driving us to camp. Woke up around 10 on sunday morning and me, Caitlin, Zach & Courtney loaded all our shit in the van and headed back across the boarder. We got to camp almost an hour before everyone else did so we all went to our cabins and unloaded our shit. When everyone else got there we arranged our cabin and our kids and kinda hung out for a few. We had dinner and played some all camp activities and had our first meeting. (I'm not going to tell you everyhting that we did everyday b/c I would be here for ever so im gunna sum it up.) Ok, so each day we wake up, eat breakfast together, go back to the cabin to clean it, do our first 2 activities, make up our song, eat lunch, have quite time, do our second 2 activities, eat dinner, relax for about an hour and do our evening activities. So our days are pretty filled with shit to do and by the end of the campfire each night everyone is dead ass tired. Which is such a releive! We can do pretty much any actitiviey from arts & crafts to a hike in the middle of no-where. Which is fun ass hell! We had 3 dances duing the week, a candy hunt, a counsler hunt, all camp field games and a movie night! Which was fucking sweet. We had a bunch of new counslers this year which was cool and we got along with everyone pretty good. I was a senior counsler this year (the highest you can be), but next year I was informed that I will be on Administration Staff as a female supervisor, which is pretty much right under director! So that should be a fucking blast! I cant wait for that. We came home saturday and had a camp dinner at Red Robin and then kinda went our own ways again. I know that camp was a week and I terrbile missed each & everyone of my friends but at the same time I so wish I was back there right now. I absolutely love being at camp and it gets me away from the stupid ass fucking DRAMA, the morons that I have to deal with, my parents and some of the people that I see everyday that sometimes I wish I dont! I dont know who missed me more, it was like a competetion to see who call Shannon the most during the week and leave the most voice mails. Between Kristin & Doug I really dont know who had more but between Kristin, Doug & Adam & the guys I dont know who missed me more. The voice mails that I got from these people we so funny and made me laugh and smile when I was gone! Thanks guys! I missed everyone too! Well that really is about it for cmap, its hard to explain what we did everyday. I scanned my pics of camp so if you really wanna see how much fun we have check them out at the top!!
