Since Adam, Rona, Erica, Jamee, Adrienne, and I were the only ones in the class left, we "legally skipped" together today. (Sorry Mrs. Fullwood, but it's not our fault we all have "appointments" in Wilmington today) Actually, some of us were honest. Not that it mattered, she's so frustrated she just put all our notes in a pile and told us to go away.
Adrienne and I were supposed to follow Jamee to Arby's but she left us to follow Adam. Not that that mattered since he went left to Hardees and we went right to Arby's. (because we all <3 curly fries)(and roast beef sandwiches)
Jamee followed us to the college. Big mistake. Ivey can't follow Mrs. Wildman's directions, or see the visitor's parking sign. To be fair, I did see every other sign.
Okay, I saw the sign to get on the right road as I was passing it. So we had to turn around in a parking lot. Adrienne thought Rona was waving or making hand gestures but she was asking these two guys where the library was.
When we get on the right road, I pass the sign. Then Jamee calls and tells me to turn around. So I pull off into this other parking lot that's roped off. Jamee's on speaker phone telling me to do a donut, Rona's yelling in the background "pull the E-brake", and Jamee's yelling back "I don't have an E-brake!". yep, lots of fun.
So we finally find the guard and lie to him like our teacher told us to. Yeah, I know where the admissions office is, thanks, now off to enjoy that tour.
Then we park next to Adam, feeling really bad that we've left him alone with Mrs. Wildman.
After all that excitement, I came home and watched TV. Well, you can only have so much fun.
We watched the news during supper and Daddy decided not to shop anywhere that had a "Happy Holidays" sign. Mama's decided to forgo Christmas for Kwanzaa.
