You need to meet me at the library, now. As in right now.

More than you'll care about, probably. But that's my walking pile of muscle and brain there, so you've gotta know how to take care of it.

[True! And she's already on her way to the library. STILL NO MASK, SHADOW. Actually, he might end up getting a makeover this week.]

[Shadow will take off right away too. Maybe she'll make some sense out of things. Once he nears the library he'll be keeping an eye out for... himself.]

[Not sense like you know it, buddy. Being actually in the library when he arrives, Rachel is dressed in the loosest clothing he owns, which isn't really loose at all, and still has no mask. But he should be comforted by the... strangely familiar expression oh "his" face, one of annoyance, a little rage, and determination. At least the girl has a similar mindset in some ways, or a familiar enough one?]

[And she's found a giant book about animals from her world. Complete with full-color photographs.]

[Shadow, likewise, is less than amused at this turn of events. There's quite a scowl on the face that normally belongs to Rachel as he seeks her out... and finds her. Him. This is getting too weird.]

[Takes a seat across from her. Of course, his mind is set on one detail that bothers him more than anything...]

Why's my face uncovered?

[Looking at her like she's crazy. What do animals have to do with any of this?]

[And she eyes the clothes he selected critically. Not her best look ever, but not her worst by any stretch of the imagination - black pants and a gray shirt. This guy needed some color in his life, clearly. But those were her clothes, and she didn't want them shredded. Best bet would be something small, since she didn't think he'd want to undress in public, even if it wasn't his body.]

You get to experience it firsthand. Think of a cat. Think really, really hard about cats.

[Colored clothes aren't supposed to exist for Shadow and she had no black shirts. :| He gives her another suspicious stare with eyes narrowed. Whatever she's getting at, he's not so sure he wants to be part of.]

[But if it's important enough to bother with this he'll go ahead and picture a cat. Or cats. It's strange, the more he does that, the more everything starts to shift to his perception as he begins to morph. The body seems to be used to this process although the mind's a different story.]

[At least it doesn't hurt. And Rachel watches the morph, letting it get far enough along that the changes are unmistakable, but not far enough that he won't be able to morph back into the clothing.]

Okay, reverse it. Think about me; that'll bring you back to your- my- body. I can do that with a lot of different animals, and I didn't want you changing accidentally somehow. There's a time limit.

[He's got fur growing on him- her- what's the deal with this? He does what she's saying now, picturing the girl's body he's currently living in. Begins to revert back. It takes a little bit, since he's not used to this, but again the body itself seems pretty adjusted.]

Time limit? How long, what happens?

[For as weird as this all is, Shadow himself keeps a calm tone as he asks.]

Two hours. More than two hours, and you're stuck in the form. You become a nothlit, and I really don't want to be one. I didn't want you triggering that on accident.

[This guy is one cool customer, definitely. She's actually slightly impressed with how he keeps his composure; morphing for the first time is always, ALWAYS weird.]

So do you want to see what you can be now?

[Won't deny the feeling was weird for sure. He's just amazingly subdued when it comes to showing it. Nods to her explanation; he'll make sure not to do that. It's one of those rare times he'll take someone else's word for it.]

[Considering she was determined to hunt him down and explain, it's probably a good thing that he is. Most people would probably want to avoid the person they swapped with.]

[And she shows him. It takes awhile; she has a lot of morphs. Some of them she warns him away from - all the hive insects, mainly - and a couple she doesn't talk about much - the rat and the grizzly bear - but there are definitely at least some he'd probably find interesting.]

I have a watch somewhere, I was wearing it when this happened. I can't stop you if you wanna play with my morphs, but take it with you and check it occasionally. Try to switch back with fifteen minutes left just as a safety measure.
