It's been three days-- three days-- since Zelda left and Chase is already at his wits end. Wandering through the house, he checks the locks before turning off the lights. Heading to the bedroom, ignoring the soft sounds coming fro the direction of Johnny and Peter's room, Chase closes the door behind him

"I miss you," Zelda murmured, happy to receive a call. "Do you miss me?"

"Like you wouldn't believe. Has our bed always been this big?" Chase leans back, closing his eyes as he soaks up the sound of her voice. "Do you realize that this is the first time we've been apart since you came back?"

"It is, yes," Zelda murmured, snuggling in the hotel bed. "I...well, the bed here is nice, but I prefer ours."

"How has the visit been? Are you okay? House hasn't--" He sighs, pinching his face for a moment. "I miss you, Zelda. I really do."

[wisdomsage]

"Daddy has been fine. He and Jeannette are out for ice cream currently. I wanted to lay down, so I declined," Zelda said, shifting in the bed. "I have been a little weak."

Chase sits up suddenly, eyes wide, pulse picking up. "Weak? Weak how? Did you tell House? Are you okay? What's--"

How long would it take to fly out there?

"It is fine. Daddy just said I was winded from exercise," Zelda said, laughing warmly.

"You're relaxing, though? You're in bed and resting, right? House isn't overtaxing you?" Chase bites his lip, admitting, "I'm worried."

"I am in bed and I do not even have so much as a nightgown to burden me, Robert," Zelda assured him, shifting a little. "I will be fine."

"No--" Chase licks his lips, mind immediately heading in another direction. "You're not wearing anything? You're naked?"

His breath hitches slightly.

Zelda laughed. "I have on panties, Robert."

[blondewombat]

"Which ones?" Chase asks quickly, closing his eyes and letting the images wash over him. "No bra? Are you under the blankets?"

"The black lace ones," Zelda mumbled, embarrassed. "And the bra to match."

Letting out a soft groan, Chase runs a hand over his thigh. "Those-- you know I love how you look in those. Are you alone?"

"I...yes," Zelda admitted, voice a little soft and unsure. "What are we doing?"

"Nothing," Chase says quickly. He deflates, sighing. "Okay, something. But I've missed you and you're wearing only underwear and I need this. I need you, even if I can't have you."
