long time, no update, huh. well here i am updating. what to say...oh well last wednesday we had our first track meet. i had to do the 400 and the 4x400. for the 400 there were 3 varsity people(one from mhs) and then the rest were jv(all from mhs), and we all ran together, 9 people total. i placed 4th, which means i got first for jv. and then the 4x400, i think there were 6 teams, 2 from mhs. so my team had to be varsity. we got third, which isn't too bad. i dunno how we did overall, but i was pretty proud of myself. i coulda done way better though. i'd never raced the 400 before so yeah. anyhoo. this wednesday is our next one. 3:30 at mhs if you're interested. ok now saturday...maureen's birthday was on feb.9th, and we(me, her, daniel, and nick)wanted to go to castles n' coasters for her party. but we were all busy until saturday, so we FINALLY went, and it was a BLAST. but it was really cold and windy, so that kinda sucked. but i still had fun. even on the scary thing that goes up really high all slow and then down really really really fast!! i was so scared of it. did i mention it was scary? yes i did. anyhoo. we played golf and went on both roller coasters, well nick didn't go on the big one but that's ok, and the water ride, and the little roller coaster that goes in circles, and the carousel(heck yes! i went on the zebra.), and the bumper cars, and the bumper boats, and...um...i think that might be all. but i went on the big scary one TWICE. i think that was daniel favorite thing. cuz he went on it a lot. i was squeezing his hand so hard!! as i said before, it was scary. cuz like if your thing came unbuckled or the whole thing broke when it was at the top then you'd DIE. same for all the rides actually. but i guess you just have to take that risk. moving on. ok now for the best news of all.......i'm going to hawaii in 3, almost 2 days! heck yes, suckas! sorry if i seem like a brat about it, but the only other states i've been to are california and barely into utah cuz of lake powell. and i've been on a plane once, when i was like 2, so i was too young to remember. so i'm pretty gosh darn excited!! and our intinerary is awesome too. wanna see it? of course you do! and since i have nothing better to do, here it is...(i'll only type the stuff that applies to me):
Thursday, March 10th
9:30am-arrive at airport
11:45am-depart for honolulu
3:20pm(their time)-arrive in honolulu
4pm-check into hotel
5:30pm-depart for planet hollywood
6pm-arrive at planet hollywood
ok we were gonna have rehearsals after dinner but they got changed to friday morning. so i dunno what's happening after dinner.
10:30pm-room check
11pm-lights out. we're gonna be exhausted cuz they're like 3 hours behind us.
Friday, March 11th
6am-breakfast at perry's for group 1(groups are for hanauma bay)
7:30am-depart for hanauma bay(educational tour and snorkeling)
4:30pm-group 1 departs for festival site
somewhere in this day we have a rehearsal.
7pm-symphony orchestra performance
now we're done performing for the rest of the trip. lol.
10:30pm-room check
11pm-lights out.
Saturday, March 12th
8am-breakfast at perry's
10:30am-depart for the polynesian cultural center
12pm-arrive at pcc and spend a fun day learning about the south seas cultures
5pm-heritage festivals awards ceremony
6pm-dinner at pcc
7:30pm-horizon's show in the pacific theatre
10pm-return to hotel
10:30pm-room check
11pm-lights out.
Sunday, March 13th(aka me and daniel's 3 month aniversary. heck yes.)
6am-breakfast at perry's
7am-depart for pearl harbor and honolulu city tour(we'll visit pearl harbor and the arizona memorial and pay respects; visit china town, the state capital, punch bowl crater, and iolani palace
12pm-return to hotel and free time
4pm-depart for paradise cover and luau
10:30pm-room check
11pm-lights out
in my opinion, this will be the best day. not just cuz it's our 'aniversary', but it just seems so awesome.
Monday, March 14th
8am-breakfast at perry's
10:30am-load busses for secret island tour and lunch(shh, it's a secret.)
3pm-return to hotel, freetime i guess cuz the schedule got all changed around.
6pm-load busses for dinner at hard rock cafe
8pm-evening activity on the beach
10:30pm-room check
11pm-lights out.
Tuesday, March 15th(last day:'()
8am-breakfast at perry's
10:30am-depart for pacific splash barefoot cruise and lunch
5pm-depart for ala moana mall, dinner on own and last minute shopping
8pm-depart for airport
11:10pm-hawaiin air flight #36 to phoenix
Wednesday, March 16th
7:55am-arrive in phoenix.
