When Irish Eyes Are Smiling....

I got to see the birthday girl Patty (21 on St. Patrick's day--how lucky IS that? Hopefully she didn't stay as sober as she was when I left her!) go to the parade, go to an awesome Irish pub and drink some great Guiness, meet up with Nadya who I hadn't seen in forever, and then we decided to play the Rent lottery. On St. Patrick's day. Because we're clearly HUGE losers.
But mock us all you want b/c we WON, bitches! After a long history of being completely unsuccessful at the Lottery I finally got my moment of glory. Front row, CENTER. Cappy was right in front of me, spitting on me. Sara, I know you probably want to kill me right now. You're going to kill me even more b/c I didn't get to talk to him afterwards. They're doing this thing at the Nederlander right now where the only way to get pics, signed programs, etc is to pay a bunch of money (which is donated to charity). My friend who did it didn't even really get to speak to Cappy. I mean, I'm all about giving to charity but a) I'm broke and b)This is killing good old fashioned stalking tradition! I was relatively crushed. But I couldn't be too disappointed--I was sitting in the front row and I got some pretty sweet eye contact. The only thing that could have been better would have been if Tim Howar wasn't so Howar-ible. Bad pun, and it's not even original. I don't usually agree with CB about anything but in this case they're right. E-mail me and I shall expand on this rant, plus gush about Cappy. And you will not hate me. I totally had the luck of the Irish on my side today. :)
I'm going to bed. Happy birthday Patricia, I'm sorry I'm a bad friend and I went to see "Rent" instead of coming back to hang with you guys. But I wasn't hungry for dinner with her and she REALLY wanted to see Rent and when we won, well how could I be expected to refuse front row Rent tix? Rent is my smack. I had a lot of fun, and I will make it up to you back at school. Remember, you'll be over 21 for the rest of your life! You so OLD!!
