It looks like I'm writing in here about once a month these days. I remember the "old days" when I wrote multiple entries a day. What in the world did I write about?
Well...John will be here in a little over a week, and that is very exciting. I know he's very glad to be finishing his training and to be back in Austin - if even just for a short time. He hasn't been here since the beginning of February, and it's only going to get longer from here.
Right now I'm watching the Spurs and Cavs play in the finals. The Cavs are finally actually playing. It's been a close game all the way through and they're nearing the end of the 3rd quarter now.

Apparently Jonathan Bowman found it amusing that I referred to having a child as "cooking one myself." Back story -- I was drooling over our friends' baby, and Jonathan made some remark about how girls are always all about babies. I said yeah, well, I want one, to which he replied "there are plenty to adopt." I said I would love a baby I adopted as my own, but I want to "cook one myself." Yes, that was after one sip of...Mr. Pibb + Cherry Coke + Barq's root beer. Liquids have a profound affect on me.

There is a player on the Cavs who has a head of hair that makes him resemble Toad from the Mario games. I had to look up his name...Varejao, #17.
